Clan MacThomas

The Clan MacThomas Society was founded in 1954 to develop interest in the Clan, to preserve its traditions and to promote its welfare.

The Society's aims are:

   ●   To promote the Clan's heritage in its

         ancient territories around Glenshee.

   ●    To maintain and develop sites of 

          historical interest.

   ●    To establish a number of active

          branches  around the world.

   ●    To encourage gatherings activities

          that promote the Clan.

   ●    To develop international kinship

          within the Society.

Society Organisation 

The Chief is the President of the Clan Society.

The Society is run by a Council of seven members. These include the President, two Vice-Presidents, a Treasurer & Membership Secretary, a representitive from the UK and the convenor or secretary of two of the Society's branches.
